Our Story

Years ago, founder Donnerick Morales discovered his passion for baking at a very young age. At just 9 years old, he began helping his parents, Lanie Morales and Roderick Morales, with simple cooking and baking tasks. Growing up in a family involved in the food industry, as his parents also owned a catering business, inspired him to explore the world of baking even more.

By the age of 12, Donnerick had developed a deep interest in baking through watching cake decorating videos and baking vlogs on social media. Using the ovens and equipment from his parents’ catering business, he started creating simple breads and cakes at home. His father, who previously owned a bakery more than 30 years ago, guided and supported him throughout his early baking journey. Through this experience, Donnerick gained valuable knowledge and continuously improved his baking skills.

The very first official cake he created was for his brother’s birthday. Although the cake was far from perfect — the icing was unstable and the sponge cake did not turn out as planned — it became one of the most meaningful moments in his journey. That experience motivated him to keep learning and improving.

Like every beginner, Donnerick faced many challenges and failures along the way. He struggled with measurements, textures, and techniques while experimenting with cakes and pastries. However, instead of giving up, he remained determined to improve with every mistake. Over time, those failures became the foundation of his success.

As he mastered the perfect textures and flavors of his baked creations, relatives and family friends began ordering cakes from him. What started as a simple passion slowly grew into a small business, and eventually into a growing brand built with dedication, creativity, and hard work.

From 2021 to 2022, Donnerick’s parents introduced his cakes and baked products to the grand manager of a hotel in Tagaytay, Philippines. This opportunity allowed his business to start supplying cakes to the hotel. As time passed, more hotels in Tagaytay began ordering from him, including custom cakes, wedding cakes, giveaways, and cake gifts. These milestones helped strengthen and expand the business even further.

One of the biggest highlights of his journey came in October 2023, when the business was featured in Philippine Star, one of the country’s leading print media companies. This recognition helped the brand gain more exposure and grow its presence on social media. During this time, Donnerick also sold his baked goods at school, where classmates, teachers, and fellow students continuously supported and appreciated his creations.

Following the Philippine Star feature, several media agencies and companies invited Donnerick for media features and television guestings. These opportunities became major milestones in his growing career and further motivated him to pursue his passion for baking.

By December 2024, Donnerick and his parents successfully built their own Baking Studio in Dasmariñas, Cavite — a dream that became one of his biggest achievements at such a young age. The studio continues to grow today and serves as the place where creativity, passion, and dedication come to life.

Now at 16 years old, Donnerick continues to expand his business while balancing his studies and passion for baking. Through hard work, faith in God, and the unwavering support of his family and friends, he continues to inspire others by turning his childhood passion into a growing success story.
